Random case sealers automatically adjust their tape head height to different case sizes. Automatic random carton sealers fold the flaps of the case, then the tape head automatically adjusts to the box height to seal the carton. Unlike automatic case sealers, semi-automatic random box tapers require an operator to fold the flaps of the box and feed the case into the case sealer to be taped with machine carton sealing tape.
